Biography

Andreas co-created, with Professor Phanish Puranam, the frontier of techniques and methodologies for (re)-designing organizations. This suite of new ideas called as Org 2.0 represents a major change from the older approaches to designing the “boxes and arrows” of organization charts (that is commonly call Org 1.0).

He regularly consults with senior executive teams and boards in the areas of People and Organizational Analytics, Strategy Execution, and Leadership in Digital Age. Andreas founded Organizational Analytics in 2015, a Singapore-based consultancy firm which specializes in using data science to help his clients improve their people and organizational performance with data.

Previously, he was the Dean at Hay Group Global Centre for Strategy Execution from 2009-2014. Andreas helped Hay Group to secure 1st rank in Leadership Development Consulting Global rankings in 2013. He teaches Consulting to Management at NUS Business School, and he is a Senior Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University.

Andreas received his doctorate in management from the University of Indonesia; his master’s degree in corporate finance and operation research from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Parahyangan Catholic University. He also completed the strategy implementation program at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
