Description

By learning from data in a fraction of the time of a human, artificial intelligence (AI) can make better decisions and forecasts for increasingly more and complex tasks.

If some early predictions are correct, AI has the potential to add $15 trillion to global output by 2030 and to double economic growth for many countries by 2035.

But, in order to realise this world-changing potential, individual businesses will need to implement AI across their processes, products, and services - and do so while balancing productivity with responsibility.

In this online lecture, INSEAD professor Theodoros Evgeniou will walk through some of the critical issues involved in AI implementation:

  • Improving your organisation’s data readiness
  • Finding and developing talent
  • Driving your organisation’s AI journey
  • Managing new risks (e.g. discrimination, unethical behaviour of AI, even jobs and health risks)
  • Managing the organisational changes associated with disruptive technology
  • Building an AI-savvy board.

We have also invited alumnus Karsten Wildberger, MBA’00J, COO and board member at E.ON to share his experience on driving AI implementation in the energy sector and Kay Firth-Butterfield, Professor of Law and Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the World Economic Forum, to discuss the work of the WEF on AI for boards and governance.

This webinar is a collaboration between INSEAD’s Lifelong Learning initiative and the TMT Network.
