The INSEAD Emerging Markets Institute (EMI) and IMF Singapore Regional Training Institute (STI) are delighted to invite you to “Should We Fear the Robot Revolution?”, an invitation-only seminar on Tuesday 12 December 2017, at the INSEAD Asia Campus.

The seminar will feature Mr. Andrew Berg, Deputy Director, IMF Institute for Capacity Development. Andrew will deliver a short presentation on the economic implications of the “second industrial revolution”. The seminar will be followed by a Panel Discussion on the broader implications of robot technology for economic developments globally and in the region. The Panel will feature Mr. Randy Walker, CEO and Chairman, Asia Pacific, IBM, Mr. Taimur Baig, Chief Economist and Managing Director for Group Research, DBS and Professor Phanish Puranam, the Roland Berger Chaired Professor of Strategy & Organisation Design and Academic Director of the PhD Programme, INSEAD, in conversation with Mr. Stephan Danniger, Director, IMF STI.
