How is the digital data explosion changing banking businesses? For insurers, it is the key driver in shifting the underlying business model economics. It has also created opportunities to nudge insurance consumers away from risk.
What opportunities come from insurance providers having an increased ability to measure and predict risk for consumers? How is this managed by regulation now and what future regulatory changes might we anticipate? Our speakers will explore how the data explosion, and the way that the technologies that underpin its usage, are changing the measurement of risk and the developing implications of personalisation.
Our panel includes:
Andrew Brem (MBA 95J), Chief Digital Officer at Aviva is accountable for Aviva’s digital transformation, including every aspect of customer interaction in all Aviva’s markets, offering customers good digital service, transparent pricing and increased loyalty rewards. Under Andrew’s leadership, Aviva has become digital leader in the insurance industry, building core digital IP such as ‘Ask it Never’, which delivers commercial and customer value.
Alex Plenty, Associate Partner Lead for IBM market offerings in Cognitive Process Transformation and Big Data for Insurance, has over 20 years consulting experience. He has delivered major technology and data change programmes for tier one insurers and Lloyds of London syndicates.
